When you read the biography of our November guest, it’s like reading a who’s who! Try it for yourself here: About Glenn
Spoilt for choice but here’s a potted version. A multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter who crosses multiple genre’s in his music and travels the world to share it. Glenn has performed with well known artists such as Steve Earle, Jackson Brown, and Renee Geyer, Robert Cray and Bonnie Rait, Archie Roach and Kev Carmody. He’s supported Tex Morton, Jenny Morris, Michelle Shocked on tour.
Glenn’s music is featured on Emmy and BAFTA-award winning film-maker and journalist John Pilger’s 2014 film Utopia (No More Whispering); Redfern Now Series II (Golden Sands) and other work by Wayne Blair (of The Sapphires & Redfern Now) as well as documentaries and televisions programs such as the ABC’s Message Stick.
A proud Aboriginal man who grew up in Goodooga, NSW, Glenn has travelled far and wide where both he and his music have been welcomed and left their mark. It’s a rare treat to have him at the Club and we encourage members and guests not to miss this fine artist.
