Central Coast Bush Dance & Music Association Inc.(CCBDMA) is committed to keeping our own heritage alive and encourages the preservation of Australian Bush Dancing, Music and folk traditions. Regular bush dances held monthly. Folk Alliance Australia(FAA) is the peak organisation representing folk music across Australia. Membership is open to all with most members being songwriters, performers, festivals management and supporters of folk music. Hunter Bush PoetsCo-sponsors of the Gulgong Henry Lawson Festival June long weekend. Competition and performances held at various locations - e.g. Newcastle, Morisset, Scone, Krambach, 'Ducks Crossing' Warners Bay and some members compete Australia wide. Come along and join us - perform a poem or two or just sit and be entertained by an evening of great poems and yarns from our members. TroubadourCentral Coast music and poetry group committed to preserving the traditions of heritage music and poetry for generations to come - encourages participation by everyone and provides a place for beginning and advanced artists to become involved. |
